"You're only 22 once!"

...sometimes I use this rationale to help feel better about staying up late. I'm usually really good about getting 8 hours of sleep a night, so I figured I'd be ok for one night getting a little less. WRONG. Bad idea haha. I like sleep quite a bit :)

I LIKE SLEEP

Speaking of sleep, I didn't really get any last night. I was being good and headed for bed at 9:30 and everything! By the time 10:30 rolled around I realized I was having a terrible time getting comfortable and falling asleep. It was too hot under the covers, but too cold to uncover any body part. Too hard to breathe through my stuffed up nose if I slept on my side, but really awkward laying flat on my back. My boyfriend was comfy to snuggle up to, but added to the extreme heat under the comforter. I'd finally start drifting off and then Jake would toss or turn to wake me up. He'd start falling asleep but then I'd get the urge to wiggle a little bit. There was just no winning. He eventually got up to watch TV and I was left alone, staring at where I knew the ceiling was, covered in darkness. Sometime around 4am I fell asleep only to wake up at 5:30 to start my day :/...

SNOWBOARDING!

Finances are a little tight this season so my frequency of snowboarding will be depressing. Luckily, it's working out to go this upcoming Sunday!! Jake was even able to stir up a few extra dollars to come as well! :D

The first time up for the season is usually the roughest because it works your legs out sooo much. But it's a good burn. I love it. I'm expecting lots of fresh powder & little jumps to fly off of. We're going with Martin and my friend Ashley from SU. All 4 of us are great on the snow so we won't have any waiting around! No offense to anyone still learning, but continually going in groups of people who can't keep up gets really old. It's fun to just get out and fly!

HALLOWEEN! ♥

Jake and my annual Halloween party turned out great! We acquired a few more decorations this time around so they're not all fitting back in the original banker's box. They're all sitting in our family/dog room right now...

Someone died in our kitchen O.o Too much Bud to the head.

But anyway! The party was a lot of fun, and no broken doors or closets! The carpet sustained only a few minor spills, minus the incident in the hallway. I steamed that up in the middle of the party, though. :) I'm a dork I know but easier to clean right away than leave it for later :D

Lots of dancing!

Jake as...random blue haired guy and me with my backup costume when the yipyip was too hot to wear.

Brian and me. Greetings!

The costumes were great! We planned on having a vote for the best male and female costumes and had prizes ready to go and everything, but we were having so much fun we forgot...haha. Woops. We might save them for next year :)

Brian & I were the Yip yip martians from old school Sesame Street :) It was a lot of fun making and being them, but the costumes were wayyyy too hot to wear all night. We would just wear them for short spirts.

EVERYTHING ELSE

So, everything else is good. House, puppies, kitties, my job, my motorcycles...well sort of. Ninja still has a cracked fairing, but Jake said he'd fix it whenever he gets the money...or a job for that matter. And the chain on my TW200 busted after fixing the clutch, ha. Go figure. :) Actually went for a ride on my Ninja with Erika and the Martins last month. We went up Chuckanut drive through Bellingham then down hwy 9. It was a fun ride :)

That's all for now
