TG!F

This being my first post I am filled with things I'd like to talk about, but unsure where to start or even in which direction this blog will go. I used to LiveJournal on an almost daily basis, and now with the advent of my unlimited picture messaging, I am encouraged to resume my daily chronicles. I'm not sure how much I'll get to cover today, but these are the topics that come to mind to start off with:
  • my puppies
  • house
  • movies
  • p90x
  • motorcycle[s]
  • hot tub
  • taxes
  • camping
  • job
  • car
  • stereo
Today is a beautiful day! Sunny with crisp pre-spring air! Not that I've had the opportunity to really enjoy it since I've been behind glass windows all day...but 3:30pm is rolling around the corner.

Where to start? This week has been strange. I haven't had my car since it's been in the body shop having the nice dent those jackasses put in my bumper taken out. Luckily, the damage was minimal. It's just been a string of bad luck, though, since late December my car was hit in a head-on wreck. Not my fault. I luckily tried to get out of the ladies way and avoided a much more serious, damaging wreck, but my front passengers' side headlight, fender, and hood took some slight damage. The good news is my hood had some pretty nasty scratches on it when I bought it, so now I have a nice, newly painted hood and my car looks brand spankin' new. I love my car:
But without my car all week Jake and I have been carpooling everywhere. It's actually worked out quite nice...my office is on the way to his job site. I could just hop on my motorcycle, but I didn't really buy my bike with the intention of driving it on the freeways. It has a larger piston, thus a larger bore than stock, and different sprockets so it's set up for freeway speeds, but it doesn't like going 60 for extend amounts of time by any means. My bike is meant for the trails; it's geared super low ... and just take a look at my rear tire:
I would also like to take a few moments to talk about both my puppies and my boyfriend. Lily, the golden retriever is 8 months old! This picture below was a few months ago, so she's much more furry, golden, and big. Trooper is the white boxer, and he's 2 years old. They play together non-stop and absolutely LOVE going to the dog park. Jacob & I have been dating for over 3 years and that's going well. Good relationship. We bought a house together last year and so far that's been a lot of fun, but also a lot of work. WELL worth the troubles, though. Soon our yard will be beautiful once again. We're replanting our lawn. :) Below are our puppies, Jake & me, and our house:

Well, my break is over from work so I will continue later.
